Dear Vob,

My brother has been living in England for over 40 years. He was not aware that he had other siblings besides one sister that he held when she was a new born baby. Our father and my brother got separated during the war. Dad went to England and Ken followed a few years later but their paths never crossed.

Our father always told me, the youngest of the girls, that we had a brother and I was determined to find him no matter what.

When I came to Barbados it seems like many years ago I started searching for my big brother but without any luck.

Any man that resembled my father I would go up to and ask who he was and then explain that I was looking for a brother I did not even know.

I eventually managed to get an address through the help of one of his family members. I wrote to him and gave him my phone number in Barbados and he called.

I would like him to meet the rest of the family as he is now a great great uncle and does not know his family members at all.

Are you prepared for this hurricane season?
