I would like you to choose my brother Finister Stephens of St. Vincent for HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS.

The reason is because he never travel in his life out of St Vincent. You see when he was six(6) years old, Finster went walking, he and his father looking at the sceneries of the mountains and rivers. While walking my Dad said a fellow shouted out "Who down there Move" By the time that came through he saw the stone and Finster in the river, and the river was dragging Finster so he jump in the water grabble him but he notice one of his foot was off.

My Dad said Finster was in pain. They took him to the hospital, but in those days there were no one to give good representation so he deid not get any compensation. They could not afford a lawyer, they were too poor.

Dad then had to go back in the woods, he cut down a tree and make a walking stick for six year old Finster. He then began to walk with it even to school, while he was laugh at, but then he got accustom with the stick, and while growing up he will have to get a longer stick, he then will go himself into the wood or mountain and cut his own stick which he enjoy walking.

He will walk into Kingstown, the Capital and buy his one foot shoe. The storekeeper will always keep a one foot shoe for him, but before he had to walk barefooted.

Finster is between 55-60 years now. He is still strong. I recall when I was 10 years he was the one my parents will leave with us to look after us, to wash, cook and clean the house, and I did something wrong, and he was going to beat me, so I thought, well he has one foot, he can't catch me, so I will run, I try running fast, but he run so fast behind me and drop a lash on me. That day I cried but I learn my lesson. Never mess with a one foot man.

I love him very much because he is well disciplined and obedient. I correspond with him by writing or phoning him at a neighbour. He said he would like to travel. He is a good swimmer and house buildre. He still walk with a stick. I will love to see my brother again after so many years.
