Dear Vob,

I never saw my grandfather as he has been living in England the majority of his life and is now retired.

He makes calls as frequently as he can and never misses a birthday or holiday without sending a greeting.

In 1997 he visited Barbados but I was in New York at that time. My brother met him (also for the first time) and so did all of my close friends.

We live by pictures and phone calls. I hope to meet him soon face to face.

He always makes an effort and never disappoints me. I love my grandfather and want him to meet his great grandson.
