STATIONS HISTORY
VOB 92.9 FM, Established in 1981, VOB is an interactive member of the community, reflecting and shaping contemporary Barbadian lifestyles.
It's a young, creative and vibrant voice, delivering accurate news, sports and music. VOB is renowned for its in-dept current affairs programming and in 2000 received the prestigious NAB Crystal award, an international award for broadcast Excellence in the field of community service.
Today VOB is the number one radio station in Barbados with an audience greater than the combined total of all competing non Starcom Network radio stations. Broadcasting on 92.9 FM, Voice of Barbados is heard "everywhere".
